Raymon Van Bibber 34 [boarder Tie Maker]
Note: Tie
Maker refers to making railroad ties. In April 1999 we were in New Madrid
Co., MO doing research on Raymond VanBibber and the locals stated the men
would hand shape the wood into railroad ties.
Note: Raymond is listed
in his sister's 1946 obituary as living in Missouri. Raymond remains a mystery.
Some say he lived in Mexico for a few years because he had deserted his
military enlistment. Some say he lived under an assumed name. We may never
know.
