Rob Fish [Robert Joseph Fish] is listed on the first page of the 'Register of the Inmates of the Orphans'Home Warrick County, Indiana, no parent is listed for him. He remains in the orphans' home until he is bound out to G. Jacob Roth on 5 September 1891. A search of the 1880 census finds a Robert Fish age 3 months, born in February, living with his 15 year old mother, in the home of his grandparents. By December 1882 he is living in the orphans' home and in April 1891 he is listed as age 11, born Newburgh, parents dead and no siblings.
