There is no date at the top of this page and I feel this first page is a listing of the children living in the home in December 1882 when Ed and Malinda Meece took over management of the home. Near the bottom of this first page is the date Jan 1883 when new children were admitted.

Page 2 is dated 22 December 1886, so for the four years from December 1882 to December 1886 no record of the children of the home was noted.

James and Isabell Manning Roberts divorced, Dec 1891 Warrick Co., IN Civil Order Book 22, page 279 She gets the children [they were in the orphanage from 1882 to 1887]. They are listed aged 12 years and 11 years in the divorce record.

Isabell remarried in 1892 and had three more children. Alice Strictland is mentioned as a sister surviving Dessie Canary, in her obituary.
