Where he remained until the year 1874. That during Said time there was only about three years that he performed manual labor Sufficient to Support his family. That during all this time he Super intend his farming, and managed to get a Support for his family. That his Physical disability increased every year. That he received medical advice and help from his family physician Dr. McCracken of Sidney Iowa, but no radical treatment for the reason as he alleged that he could not affect a cure. That in the year of 1874 the applicant found that a Change of climate was necessary and returned Warrick County Ind. with the double purpose of getting in to a milder climate and getting his family among relations in case he Should die. That for three years he lived on a farm managing and helping his family as best he could to procure the necessaries of life. That Since January 1875 he has received help and medical advice from Dr. D. A. That the first period of time except one year was spent in Iowa and the change of climate appeared to implant fresh vigor and while there was no __ of his Said disability, climate influences appeared to enable his System to use Superior to his disease and hold them in check. That during the Second period there influences Seemed to have fueled and his disability rapidly increased. That during the 3d period his disability increased so rapidly that he was almost wholly incapacitated for performing manual labor. He was induced to again change climate. That while he returned to Indiana was not perhaps the change that Should have been made, it was the best that could be done under the circumstances. Financial circumstances being such that there was really no other _ to him. That during the 4th period, the change from a vigorous to a milder climate Seemed to have implanted fresh vigor and he was enabled to in crease the amount of Labor performed.
