In the name of God Amen I Micajah Thompson of County of Warrick and
State of Indiana being of sound mind and memory and considering the
uncertainty of this frail and transitory life do therefore make ordain
publish and declare this to be my last will and testament That is to say
for and in consideration of the tender care the good treatment and
support of myself and Catharine Thompson my wife during our natural
lives and a decent interment of our bodies after death and the faithful
payment of all my just and lawful debts I give and bequeath to my two
youngest sons towit Micager Thompson & Thomas Thompson the North West
Quarter of the South West quarter of section No. twenty and the North
East Quarter of the South East quarter of sec No. Nineteen all in
Township No. four South of Range No. Eight West situate in Warrick
County and State of Indiana And also all my personal effects the same
including all both real and personal to be equally divided between them
at the death of their parents as stated above And further to enable them
to meet the demands above stated I now deliver to them all the Estate as
stated above And likewise I make Constitute and appoint my beloved wife
Catharine provided she survives me to be executrix of this my last will
and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made In Witness
whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name And affixed my seal this
First day of April AD 1862.

The above written instrument was subscribed by the said Micager Thompson in our presents and acknowledged by him to each of us and he at the same time published and declared the above instrument so subscribed to be his last will and testament and we at the testators request and in his presence have signed our names as witnesses hereto and written opposite our names our respective places of residences.

Be it remembered that on the 9th day of March AD 1863 William C. McSwane
one of the subscribing witnesses to the within and foregoing last will
and testament of Micajah Thompson late of said County deceased
personally appeared before me William J. Hargrave Clerk of the Court of
Common Pleas of Warrick County in the State of Indiana and being duly
sworn by the clerk of said court upon his oath declared and testified as
follows

That is to say that on the First day of April AD 1862 he saw the said
Micajah Thompson sign his name to said instrument in writing as and for
his last will and testament and that this deferent at the same time
heard the said Micajah Thompson declare the said instrument in writing
to be his last will and testament and that the said instrument in
writing was at the same time at the request of the said Micajah Thompson
and with his consent attested and subscribed by the said William C.
McSwane, Isaac E. McSwane, David W. Thompson, James William Thompson in
the presence of the said testator and in the presence of each other as
subscribing witnesses thereto And that the said Micajah Thompson was at
the time of the signing and subscribing of the said instrument in
writing as aforesaid of full age (that is more than twenty one years of
age) and of sound and disposing mind and memory and not under any
coercion or restraint as deferent verily believes and further deferent
says not.

Sworn to and subscribed by the said William O. McSwane before me William J. Hargrave Clerk of said Court at Boonville the 9th day of March 1863 In attestation whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed the seal of said Court.

County Ind do hereby certify that the within annexed last will and
testament of Micajah Thompson has been duly admitted to Probate and duly
proved by the testimony of William O. McSwane one of the subscribing
witnesses thereto that a complete record of said Willa and of the
testimony of the said Wm. C. McSwane in proof thereof has been by me
duly made and Recorded in Book 2 pages 41 & 42 of the records of wills
of said County
In attestation whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed
the seal of said Court at Boonville this 9th day of March 1863.
