Last Will and Testament of Ida M. Jones, Deceased. Probated: 1 May 1888
I, Ida M. Jones, of Boonville, Warrick County, in the State of Indiana
do hereby make and publish this my last will and testament hereby
revoking and declaring void all wills and testaments by me heretofore
made.
Item First - It is my will and desire that a monument be erected to mark
the graves of myself, my deceased husband and family by my Executors
herein after named to be paid for out of the estate that may be left at
my death the cost of the same to be left to the discretion of my said
Executors.
Item Second - It is my will and desire that all my estate both real and
personal be sold by my Executors herein after named and that they apply
the proceeds thereof in the following manner -
1st to the payment of my just debts
2nd that they pay to the Estate of my deceased husband, G. T. Jones such
sum of money as shall be found necessary to make a solvent settlement of
his said estate and pay all debts against the said estate of my said
deceased husband.
3rd that whatever there remains of my said Estate after the payments
required to be made as herein before stated be given to my beloved son
Harry Talbot Jones if he be living and if he shall die, before arriving
at full age of 21 years or before having any child or children to
inherit his estate then it is my will and desire that that portion of my
said estate herein bequeathed to him shall be divided equally between my
mother Cordilia Edwards, my sisters Emma J. Davis, Hattie Tool, Florence
McCoy, Temperance Davis, Katie Posey, Helen Chase and Anna Chase, my
brother, Horace Chace, my mother-in-law Tabitha Jones and my
brother-in-law, Laben M Jones and if my said son Harry Talbot Jones
shall die before my death then I desire that the whole of my estate
after the payments directed to be made by this my last will shall be
divided equally between my mother, my mother-in-law, my brother and
sisters and my brother-in-law herein before named.
Item third - I nominate and appoint Stephen D. Davis and Travis G. Daily
as executors of this my last will and testament
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this the 24
day of March 1888.

Signed sealed published and declared by the testatrix Ida M Jones as her
last will and testament in our presence and we in her presence and at
her request and in the presence of each other have hereunto set our
hands as witnesses. A. L. Youngblood, C.C. Ferguson, witnesses
State of Indiana, Warrick County: Be it remembered that on the first day
of May 1888, A. L. Youngblood one of the subscribing witnesses to the
within foregoing last will and testament of Ida M Jones, late of said
county, deceased, personally appeared before the clerk of the circuit
court of Warrick County in the State of Indiana and being duly sworn by
the clerk of said court upon his oath declared and testified as follows
that is to say that on the 24 day of March 1888, he saw the said Ida M
Jones sign her name to said instrument in writing as and for her last
will and testament and that this deponent at the same time heard the
said Ida M Jones declare the said instrument in writing to be her last
will and testament and that the said instrument in writing was at the
same time at the request of the said Ida M Jones and with her consent
attested and subscribed by the said A. L. Younblood and C. C. Ferguson
in the presence of said testator and in the presence of each other as
subscribing witnesses thereto and that the said Ida M Jones was at the
time of the signing and subscribing of said instrument in writing as
aforesaid of full age (that is more than twenty one years of age) and of
sound and disposing mind and memory and not under any coercion or
restraint as said deponent verily believes and further deponent says

clerk of said court at Boonville the 1st day of May 1888. W. J.

I, W. J. Hargrave, clerk of circuit court of Warrick County, Ind. do
hereby certify that the within annexed will and testament of Ida M Jones
has been duly admitted to probate and duly proven by the testimony of A.
L. Youngblood, one of the subscribing witnesses thereto that a complete
record of said will and testimony of said A. L. Youngblood in proof
thereof has been by me duly made and recorded in Book 3, pages 140 & 141
of Records of Wills of said county In attestation whereof I have
hereunto subscribed my name and affixed the seal of said court at
Boonville this 1 day of May 1888.
