The State of Indiana
Warrick County
This indenture made and entered into between Sylvyett Holly of the first
part and James Holly of the second part all of Warrick County. ????
Witnessed that the said Sylvyett Holly agrees to bind and do hereby bind
her daughter, Elmina Jenett to James Holly as apprentice for the term of
eighteen years from
the birth of said child which was on the 2nd day of March 1859 which
term of apprenticeship will expire on the 2nd day of March 1877 and the
said James Holly binds himself to educate said child to read right and
sipher to the Double rule of three x To furnish said child all the
nessesarys of life and good clothing. ?? given under our hands and
serves this June 18, 1859. her

State of Indiana Warrick Co. ?? before me Ebenezer Hart a Justice of the
Peace in and for the said county. Sylvyett Holly and James Holly came
personaly before me and acknowledged the Execution of the above
Indenture given under my hand and Seal this June 18th 1859
