Notes for GEORGE FRANCE: George reportedly fought in the Battle of Tippecanoe, War of 1812: George settled in what is now Vanderburgh Co. as early as 1810, & while living there, enlisted in the War of 1812. In an 'early day' he moved to Arkansas. His son, Warrick, was born there. He & Elizabeth came back to Warrick Co. soon after 1838 & both died here. George was kicked to death by a horse. George & Elizabeth had 5 children. We have the names of only two of them.
