1. GEORGE1 FRANCE was born abt. 1795 in NC, and died 1845 in Warrick Co., IN. He married ELIZABETH WHETSTONE abt. 1818. She was born Abt. 1798 in KY, and died abt. 1843 in Warrick Co., IN 1.

Notes for GEORGE FRANCE: George settled in what is now Vanderburgh County as early as 1810. 84 Then, in an 'early day' (by 1821) he moved to Arkansas where his son, Warrick, was born. 6 Warrick returned to Warrick County in 1838 and purchased a farm in Boon Township. George and Elizabeth joined him shortly thereafter and they both died there (in Boon Township). George was kicked to death by a horse. George and Elizabeth had 5 children. We are certain of the names of only two of them.

Notes for ROBERT KEITH FRANCE: Robert suffered a nosebleed that would not stop, and was taken to the doctor's office in Veedersburg. The doctor cauterized the bleeding vessels but was unable to stop the bleeding. Robert was sent on to Lake View Hospital at Danville, IL where he died. BURIAL: Robert K. France, died March 28, 1928, is buried in the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. He is buried in lot 47, bed 8.
